A Night Across the River, for Care Close to Home
Hunterdon Hematology Oncology proudly sponsors Hunterdon Health Foundation’s 2026 Crystal Evening
On Saturday, November 14, the old blast furnaces at SteelStacks in Bethlehem will glow a little differently. Guests will wear black ties instead of hard hats, and there will be a dance floor where a steel mill once ran around the clock. The room will be full of neighbors from just across the Delaware River who have come for one purpose: making sure the best care Hunterdon County has to offer stays right here at home.
Hunterdon Hematology Oncology (HHO) is proud to be a sponsor of this year’s Crystal Evening, the signature black-tie gala of the Hunterdon Health Foundation. The evening brings together cocktails, dinner, music, dancing, and a new silent auction. It also honors this year’s Spirit of Hunterdon recipient, for their impact on the community. Most importantly, it raises money for the programs, services, and equipment that patients across Hunterdon Health depend on.
Why This Night Matters to Us
When you’re facing cancer or a blood disorder, distance is never just distance. It’s the drive into Philadelphia or New York after an exhausting week of appointments. It’s hours away from family and one more set of logistics piled onto everything else.
HHO was built on a simple belief: people in Hunterdon County shouldn’t have to leave it to get exceptional care. Our main office and infusion center sit inside the Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center in Flemington. Our patients can go from their oncologists to infusion to radiation and support services without crossing the county, let alone the state. Our board-certified, fellowship-trained physicians bring advanced treatments to a community setting, including immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and access to clinical trials. Dedicated social workers help patients and families with everything that happens outside the exam room.
None of that happens in isolation. It depends on a strong, well-equipped health system around us, and the Hunterdon Health Foundation helps build exactly that.
A Shared Vision for a Healthier Hunterdon
The Foundation has set an ambitious goal: helping Hunterdon Health build the healthiest community in the nation. It’s the kind of goal that fits this county. Hunterdon has worked for generations to protect its farmland, open space, and small-town character, because people here know the best things are worth taking care of. Health is no different.
Every dollar raised at the Crystal Evening goes back to Hunterdon, to the equipment, programs, and services that make care closer, faster, and more personal for our neighbors. For a practice whose purpose is keeping world-class cancer care close to home, there’s no cause more fitting to stand behind.
