Dr. Wang completed his fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at Northwell Health, training at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center—two of the nation’s leading academic cancer programs. His experience spans a wide range of cancer types, including breast and lung malignancies, hematologic disorders, and complex oncologic cases requiring advanced diagnostics and personalized treatment strategies.

A key distinguishing feature of Dr. Wang’s background is his deep involvement in translational research. Before completing medical school, he spent a research year at Harvard Medical School, studying epigenetic pathways in cancer and helping refine next-generation sequencing tools used today for monitoring minimal residual disease. On Sunday, under perfect fall skies, the main events began. Runners took on the Half Marathon and the 4 Miler, both showcasing some of the most beautiful rural scenery New Jersey has to offer. Whether racing competitively or running for fun, every participant crossed the finish line with a sense of accomplishment and pride. The support along the course—from volunteer hydration stations to cheering families lining the streets—was a testament to how deeply this event resonates within the community.
