As a physician, I remain highly dedicated to learning and absorbing as much information about cancer, its evolution, and its treatments. Providing efficient, innovative and compassionate care is my only goal.

Dr. Wang earned his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University after completing his undergraduate studies in biochemistry at the Macaulay Honors College at CUNY Hunter College. During medical school, he spent a dedicated research year at Harvard Medical School, where he studied epigenetic mechanisms in cancer and contributed to advancing techniques in high-throughput sequencing for disease monitoring. His work was presented at national conferences, including the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting.
He completed both his residency in internal medicine and his hematology/oncology fellowship at Northwell Health’s flagship hospitals—North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center—where he trained alongside national leaders in cancer care. Throughout his training, he authored numerous publications across a spectrum of topics including chronic lymphocytic leukemia, breast cancer, lung cancer, coagulopathies, and innovative therapeutic approaches. Dr. Wang has presented his research at major professional meetings such as ASCO, ASH, and AACR, and has held teaching and leadership roles on platforms dedicated to continuing medical education.
Dr. Wang’s professional interests include bringing innovation to community oncology, particularly through the thoughtful use of automation and artificial intelligence to enhance care delivery, improve efficiency, and support better patient experiences.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Wang enjoys playing tennis—having competed collegiately—and playing piano for his church community.
Dr. Wang is honored to join the Hunterdon Hematology Oncology team and is committed to delivering compassionate, cutting-edge care to patients across the Hunterdon region. He is currently accepting new patients.
