Celebrate Survivorship: Join Us for the “Moving Beyond Cancer” Event

We are excited to announce a special event in collaboration with Hunterdon Health, “Moving Beyond Cancer: Survivorship,” dedicated to celebrating and supporting our cancer survivors.

• Time: 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM
• Location: The Tent Behind the Hunterdon Medical Center, 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822 (Upon arrival, please follow the Hunterdon heart signs to the parking area and tent.)

We are honored to partner with the Hunterdon Mercer Chronic Disease Coalition, New Jersey Cancer Education and Early Detection (NJCEED), and the Elixir Fund to bring this meaningful event to our community.

Event Description:

Hunterdon Hematology Oncology and the Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center are delighted to host an evening of celebration for cancer survivors. This event is designed to provide valuable information on cancer prevention, oncology rehab and wellness, guided meditation, oncology nutrition, and medicinal cannabis.

Scheduled Events:

• 4:00 PM | Welcome Sign-In: Kick off the evening by signing in and receiving a warm welcome from our dedicated team.
• 4:15 PM – 4:45 PM | Meditation for Cancer Patients: Join us for a calming meditation session tailored specifically for cancer patients, aimed at promoting mental and emotional well-being.
• 4:45 PM – 5:15 PM | Yoga Demonstration: Experience a rejuvenating yoga demonstration that highlights gentle exercises and poses beneficial for cancer survivors.

In recognition of the strength demonstrated throughout your journey and your path forward, we invite you to participate in a collaborative painting. This artwork will be proudly displayed in the Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center as a testament to the resilience and unity of our community. Survivors, active oncology patients, family members, caregivers, and healthcare providers are all welcome to contribute to this special project.
